Located at about 20 kilometres north west of Tirupati in theTirumala hills lies the world famous shrine dedicated to Lord Venkateswara Swamy(Form of the Hindu God Vishnu) . The temple is the richest pilgrimage centre and the most-visited place of worship in the world. The temple is visited by about 80,000 to 100,000 pilgrims daily.
